Details
The IQ-160 intelligent lighting controller is a stand-alone version of the controller used in Skene Design's P3 Lights. It adds our unique conspicuity flicker to your own add-on rear visibility lights and/or your existing tail/brake lights.
The IQ-160-TS model is a dual channel controller that can also power extra or existing turn signals, turning them into combined marker, turn signal and brake lights. If the existing or add-on turn signals are LEDs, it also provides them with our conspicuity flicker.
The IQ-160 can control any number of lamps of up to a total of 30 watts power dissipation. The IQ-160-TS model can support two channels (left and right), of up to 30 watts per channel.
Installation is quick and easy, and the controller can be used with any motorcycle. Programming the various functions is done simply by using the brake switch, in exactly the same manner as P3 Lights.
A comprehensive installation guide and all necessary connectors are included.
Skene Design provides a two-year warranty in the event of any defect in the product.
Programming
The IQ-160 can quickly and easily be programmed to any of several modes simply by using the brake lever. There is no need to cut wires or fiddle with tiny switches.
When the ignition is switched on, a programming window is enabled for 5 seconds. Activate the brake a given number of times within this time period, and your P3 Lights are reprogrammed! The end of the programming window is indicated by a brief flash of the lights. Do not activate the brake again until you see this flash. The brake flash sequence and tail light modulation modes are programmed independently, and remain in the selected mode when the ignition is switched off.
