Autocom Bluetooth Adapter Lead (BT-203)

 To use the Autocom BTM-02A Bluetooth adapter with the Super Pro AVi, Active Plus and Easi Plus, this additional accessory lead is required in order to provide optimum stereo functionality.  

Connecting a mobile phone capable GPS, or mobile phone to AUX2 on a Super Pro AVi, Active Plus or Easi Plus:

On these systems, AUX2 automatically mutes the incoming audio which,  was intended to be stereo music - so that it's eastier to talk from rider to passenger witout having to speak over the music. However, when engaged on a mobile phone call, muting the other party's voice audio is problematic. The recommended method of connecting phones and GPS’s is indicated below.

The BTM-02A includes two leads in the box -  buth when connecting to the above Autocom hubs, you won't use either of these leads:

• Blue 4 pole plug  to a Black 3 pole plug  part number BT-201 
• Blue 4 pole plug  to a Black 4 pole plug  part number BT-202

Rather, you'll use part BT-203, which is a 3-way lead with a Blue 4-pole plug, split into a Black 3-pole plug and a Yellow 3-pole plug, that will overcome the muting issue. Connect as follows:

Easi Plus: Connect using BT-203 black into AUX2. (AUX2 does not mute on an Easi Plus). Yellow into AUX3. Blue into the BTM-02A's socket.

Active Plus or SP-AVi: Connect the BT-203's black into AUX1 with the internal power-up link Disabled (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - Contact Rocket Moto customer service for details). BT 203's Yellow into AUX2. BT-203's blue plug into the BTM-02's socket.
