Autocom Stereo Bluetooth Module

The BTM-02A is intended only for connecting a stereo device to an Autocom hub. It is not suitable for connecting a Bluetooth headset like a Sena, Scala Rider or Interphone to an Autocom hub.

Some devices, like the BMW Navigator IV or the iPhone, when utilized with the BTM-02A for phone calls, require our inline stereo volume control to ensure proper audio levels into the rider and passenger headsets or earbuds.

The BTM-02A is very easy to pair with compatible devices, by pressing a single recessed pushbutton.

Unlike most Bluetooth adapter on the market that use rechargable batteries, the BTM-02A is powered directly from the special socket on the Super Pro Automatic or from ignition-switched 12Volt power utilizing the included Posi-tap connector.

The BTM-02A audio is near-wired quality and is the perfect adapter for music and mobile phone calls into your Autocom hub.

The BTM-02A kit includes the following:

• A stereo interface lead with a blue 4 pole 3.5mm plug to a black 3 pole, 3.5mm plug
  • This lead is used on earlier generation Autocom hubs with 3 pole stereo AUX sockets, including Pro-7 Sport and Pro M1
  • Using this lead will provide for ONE-WAY audio only FROM the device, NOT TO the device
  • This lead is suitable for a music player or stereo GPS but will not permit the rider or passenger to pair a mobile phone for making phone calls, or a GPS that has the capability for use as a controller for a mobile phone

 

• A stereo interface lead with a blue 4 pole, 3.5mm  plug to a black 4 pole, 3.5mm plug
  • This lead is used on current generation Autocom hubs with 4 pole stereo/mic AUX sockets including Super Pro Automatic and Logic hubs.
  • This lead will permit a rider and or passenger to utilize the compatible devices for stereo music, GPS directions, satellite radio, and mobile phone calls
  • Using this lead will provide for TWO-WAY audio to-and-from from a compatible Bluetooth device
  • This lead, when connected to the BTM-02A, is suitable for use with any of the following:
    • Bluetooth stereo music player (iPod Touch, Zune, etc.)
    • iPhone, Android, BlackBerry
    • Garmin Zumo 550, 660, 665, BMW Navigator IV

 

• A splitter interface lead with a blue 4 pole 3.5mm plug to a black 3 pole, 3.5mm plug, and a yellow 3 pole, 3.5mm plug
  • This lead is used only for the older Super Pro AVi or Active Plus, and only provides audio into ONE helmet speaker
  • Using this lead will provide for TWO-WAY audio to-and-from from a compatible Bluetooth device, as above, but will not be in stereo!
  • Rocket Moto DOES NOT RECOMMEND the use of this lead. Rather, we can modify the SP-AVi or Active Plus circuit board to enable proper operation. Please inquire to Rocket Moto Customer Service for details.
  • Alternatively, Rocket Moto can fabricate a custom splitter lead that will provide audio into both helmet speakers
