Details
This is the latest interface for the Garmin Zumo from Autocom. The 4066 lead replaces Part #2190 and works with the 500, 550, 660 and 665 Zumo models. Also suitable for use with the Garmin Streetpilot 2820. This adapter is 79" (2m) long and does not require any other leads or parts; the Isolation is built into the lead, and is much smaller than previous versions. The 4066 provides for greater helmet speaker volume than the previous generation part #2190 Garmin Zumo Interface.
If you you want MP3 and turn by turn directions only, with no capability to use a mobile phone thru the Zumo, consider using Part #4004 instead.
The 4006 is especially designed for all 2009 and later Autocom systems including:
- Logic
- Logic Independence
- Super Pro Automatic
May also be utilized with the following systems, although the operation is not optimal
- Easi Plus
- Active Plus
- Super Pro AVi
The systems above, on the Aux2 socket, when speaking in to the Autocom microphone, the distant party's voice, while on a phone call, will be reduced in volume for several seconds after you stop speaking. The reason for this, is the Aux2 socket was intended for stereo music and not mobile phone use. Contact Rocket Moto customer service. We can provide a custom adapter that will allow connecting a Garmin Zumo to the Easi Plus, Active Plus or Super Pro AVI in monaural (non-stereo) operation.

Rocket Moto also offers a service to modify the circuitry of the Auper Pro AVi and the active plus to permit the 4066 adapter to work properly. Please contact Rocket Moto Customer Service for details on sending your Autocom system to us for modification.

| IMPORTANT | The 4066 adapter is not compatible with the BMW Navigator IV GPS! The Nav IV, while a first cousin to the Garmin Zumo 66x GPS units, does not have the ability to have hard-wired audio in and out. Hard-wired audio is not possible with the BMW mounting cradle, nor with the Garmin 660/665 cradle. The only way to use the Nav IV for phone calls is with Bluetooth. We recommend the Autocom BTM-02A Stereo Bluetooth Module, along with the required Rocket Moto Volume Control. |
