Details
The SR10 is a Bluetooth hub for easily connecting a two-way radio and a radar detector to your personal audio network, based on Bluetooth technology. Many of our customers have tried all manner of Bluetooth dongles and adapters to get a two-way radio or radar detector audio into the Sena headset. All of these are a compromise, at best. The SR10 is a superior, easy to setup solution that hundreds of our customers have been clamoring for!
Powered by a battery that charges from a standard 5 volt micro USB port, the SR10 is about the size of a mobile phone. An optional cigaratte socket charging lead is available.
The SR10 features three input sockets: a mini-type DIN; a two-way radio socket for a Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, Yaesu, Midland or similar FRS/GMRS/HAM radios, and a 3.5mm stereo input socket for non-Bluetooth GPS, radar detector or similar audio source. The SR10 has a large, glove-friendly PTT (push-to-talk) button and will accommodate a handlebar mounted PTT button as well, for transmitting on the two-way radio.
The beauty of the SR10 is you'll connect up your various 'wired' devices to the hub, which then converts those audio sources to Bluetooth and transmits those wirelessly to your Sena, Scala Rider, Interphone, Schuberth SRC or other compatible Bluetooth headset... SO SLICK!
Battery life is about the same as the SMH10 headsets - 10-12 hours per full charge, or power from the bike with an optional micro-USB cigarette socket charger..
