The rapidFIRe heated jacket liners pack down to a very compact size to fit on the bike when not in use. Not only the warmest heated clothing available, but the ProForm stretch panels also make them the most comfortable. A temperature controller is required use with the rapidFIRe 105 watt jacket liners.

ProForm™ stretch panels provide three key advantages: non-binding movement, maximum heat transfer and simple sizing. While all three are very important, maximum heat transfer is perhaps the most important. For maximum heat transfer the heated garments must be close to the body. A long sleeve T-Shirt is recommended under the heated jacket liners. A heavier layer can be worm over the garment. Other heated clothing manufacturers provided many sizes to attempt to create a snug fit. This often leads to a more complicated purchase and the potential improper fit if your weight changes.

Dual Wireless Temerapture Controller

Powerlet's Performance line of temperature controllers are designed to be fault tolerant; these controllers will not fail in wet weather. Being fully protected against reverse polarity, overload and short circuits, Powerlet Performance(tm) Temperature Controllers are designed to perform under all conditions.

A wireless controller? How does this work, anyway?
Inside the jacket liner, there's a small storage pocket where the wireless controller's receiver connects to two 'branches' inside the jacket liner; one for the jacket liner heat and a second that extends to the sleeves for the glove liners. The receiver has a third connection, a male coax-type plug, standard for all brands of heated gear, that connects to a supplied mating socket that connects to the bike's power.

There's a compact two-knob wireless remote control that is paired to the receiver via a simple 30 second process. This insures that any friends with Powerlet wireless controllers will not my controlling the heat in your geat inadvertantely! The red knob adjusts the jacket liner temperature, while the yellow knob adjusts the glove liner temperature. This remote can be attached to the bike with the supplied Velcro pad to a flat surface such as a fairing panel or master cylinder cover. There's also safety lanyard on the controller, that you can affix to a convenient location on the bike, to insure that your controller doesn't go bouncing down the road.

The wireless remote control utilizes an easily replaceable, and commonly avaialble CR2032 'coin cell' battery that should easily a full riding season.

Ordering Heated Clothing

Three parts are required for heated clothing: the power outlet on the vehicle, the temperature controller and the heated garment. Simply put, the temperature controller and cables connect the garment to the power outlet.
